This contract notice is for the insurance policies required for the FAB (France — Alderney — Britain) Project. This will comprise of Construction All Risks insurance including terrorism, Delay in Start Up insurance, Operating All Risks insurance, Business Interruption insurance, Third Party Liability insurance and any others that may be required for the project. The FAB Project is a joint development between FAB Link Ltd and RTE of a 1400 MW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) electricity interconnector project that will connect the French and British grids. The 220 km route will run from the NGET Exeter 400 kV substation in the UK to the RTE 400 kV Menuel substation on the Cotetin peninsula in France.
