Project Controls Services (PMO) for Celtic Interconnector Project (RTE – Réseau Transport Electricité)
The project, also called “Celtic Interconnector Project” is a joint project developed by Réseau Transport d’Electricité (RTE) from the French part and and EirGrid from the Irish part. The project is also supported by the European Union’s Connecting Europe facility (CEF). GF1 Interconnector Project — Marine Geophysical and Geotechnical Survey (RTE – Réseau Transport Electricité)
GF1 is a 100 MW High Voltage Alternating Current (HVAC) interconnector project between Guernsey and France, with one submarine cable along a 56 km route between transition joint bays (TJB) at l’Ancresse Bay (Guernsey) and Sciotot (Normandy, France). Guernsey Electricity and RTE aim at procuring a marine survey contractor(s) to carry out a high-quality offshore and nearshore marine geophysical, ecological and geotechnical survey in 2019, along with associated reporting.
