Within the Council of Europe, the Children’s Rights Division coordinates the Organisation’s effort in protecting and promoting children’s rights across Europe and beyond, including through supporting the work of the Steering Committee on the Rights of the Child (CDENF) and the Committee of the Parties to the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (the Lanzarote Committee). Through its co-operation projects and activities, the Children’s Rights Division provides targeted, flexible and responsive support to Council of Europe member states that so request. In this context, the Council of Europe is looking for a maximum of 380 international consultants for 19 lots (maximum 20 providers per lot) to support the implementation of co-operation projects of the Children's Rights Division, as well as activities of CDENF and the Lanzarote Committee with a particular expertise in the following key areas identified in the Council of Europe’s Strategy for the Rights of the Child (2022-2027): Freedom from violence for all children Equal opportunities and social inclusion for all children Access to and safe use of technologies for all children Child-friendly justice for all children Giving a voice to every child Children’s rights in crisis and emergency situations
