EDF Renewables wishes to invite proposals from suitability and experienced firms to act as insurance advisor/broker ("the candidate") for the provision of insurance broking and advisory services in respect of its worldwide (except North America, Canada and Mexico) onshore power plants and assets (utility size wind, solar roof and ground solar plants, met masts, solar measuring equipment, lidars, solar generators, stock offices and warehouses owned or rented, batteries...), regarding his group programs and stand-alone insurance policies.

The appointment will be for an initial period of 2 (two) years from January 1, 2023. At the expiry of the initial period, EDF Renewables shall be entitled to extend the duration of the Contract for 2 (two) additional periods of 1 (one) year.

To participate the candidate will have to provide:
- For candidate established in France: an extract from the company register (K-bis or equivalent certifying the registration procedure) not more than 3 months old.
- For candidates established outside of France : a document coming from the authorities in charge of the professional registers or equivalent or for companies in the process of registration, a document not older than 3 months certifying the registration request

Situation économique et financière:
To participate the candidate will have to provide:
- confirmation that economic dependency with EDF Renouvelables is below 25 %,
- candidate whose financial balance is respected (annual value of the contract/candidate annual turnover has to be lower than 50%),
- last financial annual report
Capacité technique et professionnelle:
To participate the candidate will have to provide:
-Confirmation that he agrees the Scope of Works defined in the procurement documents
-A brief overview of the renewable energy market, highlighting the main players, who he anticipates leading the Programs, and the following markets
-His preliminary recommendation, based on information available, to optimize existing Programs
-A planning (for one year) detailing the main steps he recommends to follow to ensure a smooth management of insurance programs (policy issuance, invoices issued/payment, lenders documentation issued, data collection for renewal, tender, lenders and board approval etc.)

-His strategy as regards to lenders requirements. The candidate shall suggest a process to be implemented to obtain, each year, Lenders’ approval on material change and issue Lenders documentation within reasonable deadline, in particular for Programs renewal.

-His strategy regarding international coordination. The candidate shall suggest a process of communication to be implemented to ensure a smooth implication of local brokers and local correspondent (data collection, certificates, claims, change declaration etc.)

-His strategy regarding new financing projects to be added under existing programs, in particular the team to be involved.
-His strategy as regard to administrative topics, in particular invoices. The candidate shall explain how he will implement the invoicing process (person in charge of the process, planning, follow-up payment etc.)
-Hisr strategy regarding prevention monitoring process
-His local and international servicing structure. The candidate shall provide CV for each member of its team (including local teams in the countries needed) outlining qualifications and experience in the renewables energy sector and also experience in placing international programs of similar size and nature, stand -alone policies and handle placement for non-recourse financed projects. This is important to provide the direct points of contacts in each country where the Program is implemented, in particular for countries outside UE;

-His strategy regarding claim management. To explain:
-How he will keep EDF Renewables updated on any losses
-What support he can provide during the loss adjustment process
-What experience he has in handling complicated claims in wind and PV sector
-If his engineering team is involved in the claim process
-His proposed brokerage service agreement with his liability cap
-Any additional details not captured in the above which make his proposal unique.
