Implementation of a technical assistance project within the framework of the AFD-ENPARD programme for access to agricultural finance for small scale semi-commercial farms and cooperatives in Georgia
1)1st phase: Detailed design (identification of the small-scale dynamic semi-commercial farms and promising cooperatives, the design of an appropriate advisory scheme, identification of innovative finance tools, identification of the ad hoc expertise needed by the financial institutions and in particular partner MFIs).
2) 2nd phase: Implementation of the Pilot Advisory Scheme and complementary activities (towards financial inclusion of the small-scale dynamic semi-commercial farms and promising cooperatives) (pilot advisory network scheme, implementation of innovative tools, Ad hoc expertise to financial institutions (particularly partner MFIs)
3) Tasks during all phases: Contribution to the policy dialogue on the agricultural sector and particularly on agricultural finance in the country; Monitoring, reporting, and auditing.
Services will be financed by European Neighbourhood Investment Facility (NIF) Trust Fund (TF).
