With the support of AFD, the GoCD has secured a grant from the European Union's Caribbean investment facility (CIF) aimed at providing technical assistance in the development of the Roseau valley geothermal resources and more specifically of the Dominica geothermal development company. This grant will be used in part for the funding of the present consultancy services assignment supporting DGDC.

Applicants will be shortlisted according to the following criteria:
For Lot 1:•
— Experience in the development and management of geothermal industrial projects as a consultant or a developer (20 %),
— Experience in procurement of services following DFI’s institutions guidelines and best practices (15 %),
— Experience in the PPA evaluation and negotiation, as well as concession agreements (30 %) • Experience in strategic capacity building (25 %),
— Experience in Small island developing states or Developing countries (10 %).
For Lot 2:
— Experience in the development and management of geothermal industrial projects as a consultant or a developer (40 %)
— Experience in management systems (HR, HSE, Operational Health and Safety) (20 %)
— Experience in procurement of services following DFI’s institutions guidelines and best practices (15 %)
— Experience with monitoring and administering World bank environmental and social safeguards(15 %)
For Lot 3:
— Experience in feasibility studies in the electricity sector (40 %),
— Experience in feasibility studies for resilient transmission interconnections (30 %)
— Experience in Small island developing states or Developing countries (15 %).
