Technical Stop of the Research Vessel l'Atalante

The purpose of this consultation is to install new equipment and perform maintenance works on the research vessel l'Atalante.
The vessel l'Atalante (length 85 m), delivered in 1989, is an oceanographic vessel dedicated to marine geoscience missions, high sea environment and physical oceanography. Due to outdated equipment, Ifremer decided to replace some of the old equipment installed onboard (main gensets, deep sea winch and lateral A-frame), install new equipment and perform maintenance works.
After notification of the contract, the engineering phase will start to prepare the works to be performed once the vessel arrives in the Shipyard. The vessel will be available in Brest, France for a period of 3 months, the planning shall include the transit time from and back to Brest in this timeframe. At this stage, the vessel availability period is supposed to start between the 1.2.2021 and the 15.3.2021, exact date to be confirmed at a later stage.

— integration the 3 main gensets (procurement by Ifremer), with an option to replace the port gensets,

— integration of the deep sea winch and lateral A-frame (procurement by Ifremer),

— addition of a BWTS (procurement by Ifremer),

— replacement of the rescue boat and its davit (procurement by Ifremer),

— possible addition of a transverse stern tunnel thruster,

— adaptation of PMS and AMS (performed by a third party subcontracted by Ifremer),

— update of the DP system (performed by a third party subcontracted by Ifremer),

— maintenance of the vessel: piping, metal works, mechanical, electrical, painting.

The services, which are the subject of this consultation, could create a new contract for the implementation of similar services under the negotiated procedure (Article R. 2122-7 of the public procurement code) and the original contract holder will execute these services.
