The IFA2 (Interconnexion France — Angleterre 2) project will connect the electricity systems of Great Britain and France using high voltage subsea cables from Normandy in France to Hampshire in Great Britain. IFA2 aims to be operational by 2020 and is developed by the IFA2 Joint Venture created by RTE and National Grid.
During the offshore cable works activities scheduled in early 2019, the IFA2 project needs a support to act on its behalf during the offshore operational phases of the project, which is the purpose of the Invitation to Tender to come.

The Employer Offshore Representatives shall act on behalf of the Employer during the offshore works performed by the main cable Contractor of the IFA2 project.
The Employer Offshore Representative Coordinator’s role is to provide and manage competent and skilled Employer Offshore Representative.

Financing from own resources. Payment of accepted invoice will be made within forty-five (45) days from the invoice issue date.

The Employer reserves the right, when awarding the contract, to ask the group to be transformed into a solidary group or with a jointly-liable representative of the consortium, insofar as this transformation is necessary for the proper performance of the contract.
