Acquisition of a MultiBeam EchoSounder (MBES) system to equip the future 6 000 m AUV of Ifremer
The MBES will be used to produce high resolution seabed bathymetry and imagery as well as water column imagery. It will interface navigation and attitude sensors on the AUV in order to provide geo-referenced seabed data.
