Overhaul of the electric locomotive traction motors

The operation consists of the overhaul of the electric locomotive traction motors, and will include the systematic replacement of the bearings (DE and NDE).
2 types of traction motor are concerned, the traction motors of the 7 MW locomotive fleet which will have incurred approximately 1 600 000 kms at the time of overhaul, and the traction motors of the 5.6 MW loco fleet and which will have incurred approximately 3 000 000 kms at time of overhaul.
The traction motors shall be overhauled in the workshops of the service provider.
