Lot 1: Supply and on-site installation of X-ray scanners for light vehicles:This Lot concerns the design work, technical proposals, installation and commissioning on both sites.All the equipment required for system operation will be included.It also includes training, warranty, technical assistance and the regulatory X-ray equipment signage.Providing assistance to the Lot 2 contractors in terms of communicating energy requirements and system layout.Lot 1 suppliers should answer for both UK and Fr site with same product.Lot 2: Civil Works and Utilities.This Lot includes, for each site, the following work:— Preparation of the 2 installation areas as per the manufacturers instructions for installing the scanners.— Supply and installation of a system operation and control hut.— Supply and installation of an enclosed shelter where passengers can wait during the scans.— Installation of a walkway for customers from the system entrance area to the vehicle collection point.— Preparation of the electrical power supplies and other utilities as necessary.— Modification of the access and exit roads.— Signage.— Lighting additional to the existing lighting if necessary.Certain information necessary for the design of this lot is to be supplied by the Lot 1 contractors.Lot 2 is divised in 2 parts:— Lot 2 a for the French part.— Lot 2 b for the English part.Lot 2 suppliers can answer for both sides or only 1.
