Rail fastening parts: flange screw for rail fastening
Eurotunnel will start a rerailing in the tunnels campaign from september 2013 over a average period of 36 months.
For this operation the needs of: 550 000 flange screw with rectangular head diam 18 mm +/- 20 %; 700 000 phenolic joint; 700 000 O'rings will be necessary over the 36 months on the basis of a detailed planning which will be included in the tender.
For information the first delivery of parts will be in july 2013 for an average quantity of 15 % of the total, the remaining being splitted over the 36 months.
For the elastic parts and isolant parts the technical specifications will give details of the norms to be followed.
For steel parts it will be the same but it is also important to take into account that the tenderers will have to be able to provide parts with specific anti corrosion protection
The tenderers should be able to provide references for equivalent parts supply in a European Railway Network as SNCF RAILTRACK... or having already been a Eurotunnel supplier for the same type of parts.
