Contracts are intended to be notified to one or two supplier(s) with one English contract(s)(covering UK projects and associated options) and one French contract(s).

(covering Penly 3 project). Consequently, the suppliers should mention from the RFI stage on which lot they intend to tender. As described below, the Request for Information is available on the procurement portal.

Awarding rules will be defined in the coming Invitation To Tender.

Penly 3 project is the object of a public debate organised by the National Committee of the Public Debate (Commission Nationale du Débat Public). The project can be engaged (opened) by EDF only at conclusion of this debate, according to its conclusions.

The effective realisations of the work, object of the present notice, will also be liable for the good outcome of corresponding governmental and administrative procedures of authorisations, in UK and in France and to the decision of EDF executive committee.

We inform you that EDF Procurement Direction decided to generalise the practice of electronic call for bids (e-tenders) and opened the EDF Procurement Portal (Portail Achats).

This concerns the publishing on-line on an internet platform of all elements of the call for bids.

Consulted suppliers are invited to publish their technical and financial offer on this platform.

The objective of this evolution is to improve the productivity and the ability to react as well in EDF Procurement Direction as by the suppliers, while bringing additional guarantees in terms of equity of treatment, traceability and of confidentiality of the exchanges.

For this goal, we invite you to become known from the buyers of the Procurement Direction by registering your company on the site of the Procurement Portal (www.portail-achats.edf.com). For registering you will have to fulfil:

— company data,

— the details of account administrator.

We draw your attention on the importance of the account administrator. This interlocutor will handle to manage all user profiles. A single account administrator is declared for one SIRET number.

— every administrator and user has a log-in and a password. The confidential password is awarded by the system. It can be modified on the Procurement Portal as often as the user wishes. You will find in joined appendix all the technical information relative to the Procurement Portal. If needed, you can call the following phone number +33 811906438 (price of a local call),

— For a EU company (except France), a single account administrator is declared by intracommunity VAT number. For a non EU company, a single account administrator is declared by Dun & Bradstreet number.

Be carefull.

Your application shall be submitted in the Procurement Portal by answering free access.

Request for Information planned for that purpose. If your application is not submitted accordingly, it shall be rejected.
