Supply of Flexible Joints (Rubber Joints) on Eurotunnel Rolling Stock Breda Bogies

Eurotunnel is a partnership between the 2 Companies France Manche and The Channel Tunnel Group

Three sub-systems of our freight bogies (Breda) first generation are equipped with flexible joints. These joints achieved their potential, we thus wish to replace them. We will therefore divided its scope into 3 lots corresponding to:
Lot nr 1: primary suspension - 3 parts.
1) 1916 axle box side flexible joints;
2) 1916 bogie side flexible joints;
3) 3832 flexible blocks.
Lot nr 2: drive unit: 2 parts.
1) 479 flexible joints for equalizer;
2) 1916 flexible joints for drive rods.
Lot nr 3: secondary suspension: 1 part.
1) 896 rubber springs.
Quantities are indicative and may vary depending on the need for Eurotunnel.
Flexible joints should be compliant with applicable standards: NF F16-101 and NF EN 13913.

Exécution du marché
Dépôts et garanties exigés:

Bank guarantee payable upon fiirst demand as a contractual performance bond to cover obligations under the contract and as a contractual completion bond issed by a leading bank for a sum amounting to 5 % of the total value of the contract.
